This week’s PS Store update for the PS4 includes a few major releases, so let’s dive right into this sizable update!
Sony’s newest PS4 update (1.70) contains one major point that players have been asking for since launch: turning off HDCP.
Every week, we bring you an update of the new items hitting the PSN South Africa Store. Ryan (the amazing author who usually brings this content to you) is experiencing a bit of weather in SA at the moment and has commissioned me to write this for you instead. Taking a look at the update, there are over 250 new games, themes, avatars, and more. Forget that; not writing an article for 200+ items! Instead, here’s a look at the new games, bundles, and add-on packs; themes and avatars are not included for two reasons: 1) to make my life easier, and 2) to streamline the data that would otherwise be an absolute glut. Since before the PS4 launched, Sony has been talking about “Greatness” Experiencing greatness is something possible on the PS4, they say. Well, to prove it, Sony is taking their PS4 (and Vita) on tour to a handful of different cities throughout the upcoming months. Newly released and yet-to-be-released titles will be available for some hands-on playtime, and there will be tournaments and exclusive activities and surprises unique to each location. There are only three new games in this week’s PS Store update, so let’s get right to the details!
Microsoft announced today that it has shipped 5 million Xbox One consoles to retailers since the console’s launch. Note that this is strictly from manufacturer to retailer, not retailer to customer. Of these 5 million, it’s not guaranteed that all of them have been sold to customers. Microsoft said that this 5 million surpasses the Xbox 360’s sales around “the same point in time” in the 360’s launch by 60 percent.

King Oddball seems to be a very fun, challenging, and addictive game by the demo, but the only thing keeping me from buying the full game is the price.
