True to their promise, Microsoft will be releasing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on the Xbox One and the Xbox One X December 12, just making their 2017 deadline with only days to spare.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been available for PC gamers since April, and there have been high hopes for this game to reach the Xbox world. We were promised the game before the start of next year and Microsoft has delivered just in time for the holidays.
It’s awesome the Battlegrounds has worked its way into becoming the most played game in the world over the steam network over the last six months. Now they are helping debut the Xbox One X with an all-new highly anticipated game right around the most wonderful time of the year.
The biggest difference between the Xbox version and the PC version of Battlegrounds PlayerUnknown’s is the separate servers. The PC gaming will continue on the Amazon server and the Xbox will run off the Microsoft’s internal Azure servers. This means there will be no crossplay, which may work for the best without the competition of mouse gameplay vs controller.
Everyone has their way of playing and everyone seems to be excited for this newest addition to Battlegrounds, check it out December 12.
