Loading Recap:

“Master Templar Juhani Otso Berg faces a dilemma…
Loyal to the Order, but sensing growing dissent from within,
the former special-ops tactician has recently adopted the
mantle of The Black Cross in order to effectively root out
treachery from the shadows.
Aware of his Order’s limitations — along with the strengths
of his enemies — Berg has begun to search the past for
alternative methods of implementing the Templar doctrine.
Utilizing Abstergo’s immense resources (and a certain
genetic profile) to dig into the annals of the Assassin
Brotherhood, Berg hopes to discover new insights and
information from the exploits of his

adversaries.
For as it has been often said, the only way to truly know
one’s enemy is to become him…”

Memory One- Chapter One:

Berg, Juhani, Otso walks into an office to use the Animus while talking about having to become the enemy to know your enemy.

Amboise, France, 1519- Ezio Auditore: final data reconstruction 78.5% est. accuracy.

Etienne argues with the Maestro.  Ezio enters the room and tells the Maestro about a memory he had.  Then you start to see what happens as Ezio fights off enemies but becomes wounded until a lady names Lisa tends to his wounds.  Then something between then splits them apart and he doesn’t see Lisa for a long time until recalling a glimpse a year later when he walked in on her getting her painting done.

After Ezio and the Maestro’s encounter we are back to Berg and the Animus.

Memory Two- Chapter Two:

Berg enters another assassin into the Animus, when this memory occurs;

Xia Province, China, 1227 Accessing Genetic memory database:

Subject Darim ibn-La’Ahad  94.7% est. accuracy.

Darim and a team of assassins inspect the camp of Genghis Khan who is waging war.  The assassins enter the camp and start depleting men.  He finds a sword and the assassins are stricken.  More assassins show and take on the camp.  Khan leads them on a chase but is defeated.

Berg ponders on how assassins join forces to take on enemies.

Memory Three- Chapter Three:

Berg opens the file for Edward Kenway.

The Caribbean Sea, September 1722.

Subject Edward James Kenway, 95.9% est. accuracy.

Aboard a ship Kenway and sea partner find a shallow spot in the ocean known to have treasure and valuables.  Kenway jets down to the bottom.  Later on Kenway makes way back to the ship, as he lands on the deck he is greeted by a man holding a gun to his head.  The man behind the attack on the ship is Ned Low.  He sends Kenway back down to fetch the gold for him, but when the bell returns they find an explosive attached to it.  The explosion hits and men go flying, but Low is still ready to battle.  Kenway grabs his men and weapons and attacks Low and his crew.  Low escapes to his ship, but Kenway has a steady hand and a great shot.

Memory Four- Chapter 4:

Berg opens Ratonhnhak’e: Ton, AKA Connor, then to Io:nhiote

Upstate New York, April 1796.  95.9% est. accuracy.

Rake’ni and Io:nhiote travel to uncertain territory.  Rake’ni is teaching her how to hunt.  As she shows progress and dedication she takes it too far and falls.  Upon awakening Rake’ni takes her to a tree where she is wounded, he leaves for help until Io:nhiote sees wolf tracks.  Rake’ni is struck by the wolf but defeats him, while Io:nhiote thinks he is gone.  Rake’ni comes back to Io:nhiote and she is filled with joy.

Berg understands the fight for family and gets a phone call.
