Disney Confirms Frozen 2 in Development

To some people’s pleasure, and to other’s dismay, Disney has officially announced that Frozen 2 is in development. Coming to a theater near you in the next few years, we’ll again see Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the crew back on the big screen.

The announcement was made during the annual shareholders meeting by John Lasseter (Chief Creative Officer of Disney Animation) and Bob Iger (Disney CEO). It was the voice of Olaf (Josh Gad) who begged the CEO to release the news. The original directors of Frozen, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, will be returning. No cast has been confirmed yet, but if we go by Twitter, Kristen Bell (the voice of Anna) is excited about the announcement.

Tomorrow will debut the arrival of the Disney short Frozen Fever in theaters along with the live-action version of Cinderella.
