March PS Plus Games (Finally) Announced

Although March’s free Games With PlayStation Plus took until the last possible day to be announced, it was well worth the wait, especially for PS4 owners, who have access to four titles thanks to cross-play!

First up, we have Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee – New ‘n’ Tasty! for the PS4. This platformer has been enhanced and rebooted for players to free people “from a dastardly meat processing facility.”

Second, we have Valiant Hearts: The Great War. Inspired by true World War I tokens, this game tells “the story of intersecting lives that suffer under [the] impossible duress.”

Next up, both PS Vita titles are also playable on PS4 thanks for cross-play. OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood is a sidescrolling skateboarding game that just released today.

CounterSpy is inspired by the Cold War, and blends “covert operations and high-intensity gunplay into a colorful pastiche of gaming subterfuge.” On top of being playable on Vita and PS4, CounterSpy is also playable on PS3 along with these next two titles!

Papo & Yo tells the story of young Quico and his best friend who happens to be a monster. You’ll need to solve puzzles while “adventuring through a magical, surrealist world.”

Finally, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments puts you in the shoes of the one and only Sherlock Holmes. What else is there to say about that one?

Which ones of these will you be grabbing? I’ll be getting CounterSpy, OlliOlli 2, and Valiant Hearts for sure. How about you?

My name is Matthew, and I’m an avid gamer. Video games and writing are my two passions. After graduation, I plan to enter the gaming industry as a news writer for a gaming trade publication or a public relations specialist for a publisher. I enjoy playing many different genres of games (though I'm horrible at RTS and brawlers). I try to diversify what I play so I can take in many different ideas, cultures, game and art designs, and aspects of gaming to appreciate it better. I’m a thinker, I love to learn, and I'm here to bring you the latest news and share my opinions through the occasional editorial.
